CHILDHOOD OF PM NARENDRA MODI : He was born on 17 September 1950 to a grocers family in Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Bombay State now Gujrat. His father’s name Damodardas Mulchand Modi and Mother’s name Hiraben Modi. Narendra Modi’s parents has Six children. He is third of them. His family belongs to the Modh-Ghanchi-Teli Community under category of Other Backward Class.
When he was child, his father was a tea stall at Vadnagar Railway Station.
Little Narendra Modi and his brother also started a tea stall at Vadnagar Bus Stand. Modi completed his higher secondary education in Vadnagar in 1967. A teacher of his School describe him as average student. His ability in debate was extraordinary. He got his first prize in debate competition. Narendra Modi interested in Theater and always preferred to act larger-than- life in theater productions. These inspiration next influence his political Image.

Modi discovered the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). RSS is a Hindu Nationalist, Paramilitary Volunteer Organization. He began attending the local Branch of RSS. He met Lakshman Rao Madhav Rao Inamdar, known as Vakil Saheb at RSS Local branch. Vakil Sahed inducted him as a “balswayamsevak” means Junior Cadet in the RSS and became his political mentor. At the time of training with RSS , he met Vasant Gajendragadkar and Nathalal Jaghda. They were founding members of the BJP’s Gujarat unit in 1980.
The Modh-Ghanchi-Teli community was a tradition to marriage at teenage. His family arranged a betrothal to Jashodaben Chimanlal Modi when he was Teen. Some few days later he abandoned the marital obligations implicit and left his home. At interview with Narendra Modi said that he traveling two years across Northern India and North-Eastern India. He visited many Hindu Ashrams. He arrived Swami Vivekananda’s Belur Math near Kolkata, next Adwaita Ashram in Almora and The Ramkhishna Mission in Rajkot. As per Modiji, Vivekananda is large influence in his life.

In the early summer of 1968, Modi reached the Belur Math but was turned away and then gone to Guwahati, Assam via Siliguri. Modi back again the Ramakrishna Ashram in Almora. He was rejected to stay Ramkrishna Mission. It happened Before traveling back to Gujarat via Delhi and Rajasthan in 1968–69. In late 1969 or early 1970, Modi returned to his village, Vadnagar for a short visit .
After that he went to Ahmedabad. There, Modi lived with his uncle, working in a canteen at the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation. He again met with Lakshman Rao Madhav Rao Inamdar who was in RSS headquarter .
Indo-Pak war in 1971, he stopped working with his Uncle and starting Full time campaigner for RSS. Shortly before the war, Modi took part in a non-violent protest against the Indian government in New Delhi.He was arrested at time of Non-violence protest.
In 1978 Modi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from School of Open Learning at University of Delhi, graduating with a third class. Five years later, in 1983, he received a Master of Arts degree in political science from Gujarat University. He grading with a first class as an external distance learning student.
